        Cotton Twist

Show your patriotic spirit with this bold and beautiful all-season pullover.

Directions are for women’s size Small.
Changes for sizes Medium and
Large are in parentheses.

Bust – 39(43-47)".
Length – 25(26-27)".

BERROCO COTTON TWIST (50 grs), 5(6-7) hanks each #8311 True Red (MC), #8301 Bleach White (A) and #8325 Navy Blue (B).
Straight knitting needles, sizes 6 and 8 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
16" length circular knitting needle, size 6.
1 St Marker.

19 sts = 4"; 26 rows = 4" in St st on size 8 needles.

When working star design following chart, cut strands of Color A in lengths of 30-40". Use a separate strand of A for each star. Where Color B must be carried across more than 3 sts, twist yarn to avoid long loops.

When changing colors, always hold color to the left and pick up new color from underneath. This twists yarn so there are no holes.

MC and Color A may be carried loosely up side of work when not in use.

If desired, the sections worked following chart may be worked in solid color B. The stars may then be added using duplicate st embroidery.
