Pattern Correction for #268 Something About Stripes

Pattern #1 Koo Koo

*RIGHT SIDE TRIANGLE (labeled #2 on diagram)

Change to B

Row 1(RS): Knit 2, turn
Rows 2 through 5 are correct as printed.
Row 6: "Sl 1, p to end. Continue to work...end on RS. DO NOT break yarn,
leave 16 sts on the needle."



Row 3 "Turn, sl 1, p to end. Continue... end on RS. DO NOT break yarn. Continue to work left slanting squares across until all sts of beginning squares have been worked and you have made a total of 6 left slanting squares."



Row 2: Turn, k to 3 sts from end, k2 tog, k1 - 15 sts. Rep these 2 rows until 2 sts remain, end on WS. Leave these 2 sts on needle. Do not turn.


RIGHT SLANTING SQUARES (labeled 5 on diagram)

Change to A (there is no C yarn used.)

Row 2(WS): "P13, p2 tog (this joins square 5 to last square 3 already made). Rep these 2 rows until all sts of square 3 have been used, end on WS. Do NOT break yarn. NOTE: When working the remaining right slanting squares on this row, pick up and p16 sts, not 14. Remaining instructions in this section are correct as printed.


ENDING SQUARES (labeled 6 on diagram)
Change to A.


Pattern #6 Kori

Square (make 60)

With straight needles, using B, cast on 31(33-35) sts.
Row 1 (WS): K15(16-17), p1, k15(16-17).
Row 2: K14(15-16), sl 2 sts together knitwise, k1, pass slipped sts over k1, k14(15-16) - 29(31-33) sts.
Row 3: K13(14-15), * WYIF, sl 2 sts knitwise one at a time, sl these same 2 sts back to LH needle keeping them twisted, insert point of RH needle through back of these 2 sts and sl them purlwise back to RH needle, p1, pass 2 slipped sts over p1, * k13(14-15) - 27(29-31) sts. Change to A.
Row 4: Knit.
Row 5: P12(13-14), rep between *'s of Row 3, p12(13-14) - 25(27-29) sts.
Row 6: K11(12-13), sl 2 sts together knitwise, k1, pass slipped sts over k1, k11(12-13) - 23(25-27) sts.
Row 7: Purl. Continue to dec 2 sts at center in this manner for 2 rows, then work 1 row even until 1 st remains (decs will alternate from RS to WS). Fasten off last st.
