Waist - 30-1/2(33-34-1/2-37-39-41)”.
Length - 36-1/4(36-3/4-36-3/4-37-1/4-37-3/4- 38-1/4)”.

MATERIALS
BERROCO SENSUWOOL® (50 grs), 15(15-16-16-17-18) balls #6530 Jungle Brown.
Straight knitting needles, sizes 5 and 7 OR SIZE TO OBTAIN GAUGE.
Safety pin (or St Holder).

GAUGE
21 sts = 4”; 7 rows = 1” in St st using size 7 needles.
TO SAVE TIME, TAKE TIME TO CHECK GAUGE.

STITCH GLOSSARY
RC2
Skip 1 st, leaving it on LH needle, k next st, k skipped st.

4 ST DETAIL
Row 1 (RS): P 1, RC2, p 1.
Row 2: K 1, p 2, k 1.
Rep these 2 rows for 4 St Detail.

BACK
With smaller needles, cast on 110(116-120-126-130-136) sts. Work in k1, p1 ribbing on for 4 rows. Change to larger needles.
Pat St Placement
Row 1 (RS):
P 1 (selvage st), k 52(55-57-60-62-65), work 4 St Detail over 4 sts, k 52(55-57-60-62-65), p 1 (selvage st). Continue in pat as established for 3-1/4”.
Dec Row (RS): P 1, SSK, work in pat as established to last 3 sts, k 2 tog, p 1. Rep this dec every 12th row twice more, then every 10th row 6 times. Work 7 rows even on 92(98-102-108-112-118) sts. Piece should measure 16-1/4” from beg.
Beg Waist Decs - Row 1 (RS): P 1, k 20(23-24-26-27-29), SSK, place marker, work 46(46-48-50-52-54) sts in pat as established, place marker, k 2tog, k20(23-24-26-27-29), p 1. Continue to dec in this manner, before first marker and after 2nd marker every 8th row once more, then every 6th row 4 times. Work even on 80(86-90-96-100-106) sts for 9 more rows, end on WS. Piece should measure 22-1/4” from beg.
Beg Waist Incs - Next row (RS): Work to first marker, sl marker, M1k, work to 2nd marker, M1k, sl marker, work to end. Rep waist inc every 8th row once then every 6th row 4 times. Work even on 92(98-102-108-112-118) sts for 9 rows more, end on WS. Piece should measure 28-1/4” from beg.
Shape Armholes: Bind off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows, 2 sts at beg of next 4(4-4-6-6-8) rows, then dec 1 st each side every other row 3(4-5-4-5-4) times. Work even on 72(76-78-82-84-88) sts until armholes measure 6-1/2(7-7-7-1/2-8-8-1/2)”.
Shape Neck: Work 26(27-28-30-30-32) sts, join another ball of yarn and bind off center 20(22-22-22-24-24) sts, work to end. Working both sides at once, continue to bind off 4 sts from each neck edge once, bind off 3 sts twice and AT SAME TIME, when armhole measures 7(7-1/2-7-1/2-8-8-1/2-9)”, bind off 4(4-4-0-0-6) sts at beg of the next 8(6-4-0-0-4) rows, then 5 sts at beg of the next 0(2-4-8-8-4) rows.

FRONT
Work same as for back to beg of waist decs. There are 92(98-102-108-112-
118) sts, end on RS.
Beg Waist Decs
Set Up Row (WS):
P 1, p 21(24-26-29-31-34), k 1, p 2, k 1, work 40 sts in pat, k 1, p 2, k 1, p 21(24-26-29-31-34), p 1.
Next Row (RS): P 1, k 18(21-23-26
-28-31), SSK, k 1, p 1, RC2, p 1, work 40 sts, p 1, RC2, p 1, k 1, k 2tog, k 18(21-23-26-28-31), p 1. Rep waist dec, with 4-St Details, having 1 less st before first dec and 1 less st after 2nd dec, every 8th row once more, then every 6th row 4 times. Work even on 80(86-90-96-100-106) sts for 9 more rows, end on WS. Piece should measures 22-1/4” from beg.
Beg Waist Incs - Next Row (RS): Work to first 4-St Detail, work 4 sts, k 1, M1k, work to 1 st before 3rd 4-St Detail, M1k, k 1, work 4-St Detail, work to end. Rep waist inc every 8th row once more, then every 6th row 4 times. Work even on 92(98-102-108-
112-118) sts until same length as back to armhole. Shape armholes as on back. Work even until armholes measure 2(2-1/2-2-1/2-3-3-1/2-4)”, end on WS.
Separate For V-Neck - Next Row (RS): Work to 4(3-3-3-4-4) sts before center 4 sts, then dec 2(1-1-1-2-2) sts, k1, sl center 4 sts to a safety pin, join another ball of yarn and k 1, dec 2(1-1-1-2-2) sts, work to end. Working both sides at once, dec 2 sts at each neck edge every 4th row 8(9-9-9-9-9) times more and AT SAME TIME, when same length as back, shape shoulder as for back.

SLEEVES
With smaller needles, cast on 56(60-60-64-68-72) sts. Work in ribbing same as for back. Change to larger needles. Inc 1 st each side on next RS row and rep this inc every 4th row 3 times more. Work even on 64(68-68-72-76-80) sts until piece measures 2-1/2” from beg.
Shape Cap: Bind off 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows, bind off 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows. Dec 1 st each side every other row 7(9-9-11-13-15) times. Bind off 3 sts at beg of next 8 rows. Bind off remaining 16 sts.

FINISHING
Block pieces to measurements. Sew shoulder seams. Set sleeves into armholes. Sew side and sleeve seams. Return to 4 sts on safety pin at center v-neck and with smaller needles, work 4-St Detail until trim fits around v-neck, across back neck, and back to center front. Leave sts on safety pin and sew in place sewing under beg of trim, then bind off, adjusting if necessary.
